About TLW Web Design
In 1996 I felt God calling me into full-time ministry and left Compaq. I have continued to do web design part-time and as a hobby ever since. In 1998 I injured my back and am now disabled and unable to return to work on an 8-5 schedule because of my health. This disability has been a blessing because it has allowed me to continue my education and get TLW Web Design off the ground. The name, TLW Web Design, came after a long struggle with what to name the company. I had many things written on paper and one was my initials. I didn't necessarily want the company named after me though because I am not the focus of the company, God is. That is when the scripture of Revelation 7:17 came to my mind, "...he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." The Living Water Web Design was the name to go with! My passion is to spread the word of Jesus Christ in any manner that is possible. I have been active with many small, low budget ministries and when we discuss web sites the cost is always an issue. I am not able to network with companies the way I would like or spend the time at their locations and I feel that the smaller ministries need a way to come into the world wide web. Regardless of size or financial position the internet is a great way to become known and get your message out. People today use the internet to find churches when they are traveling, when a family member moves, or just when they want to anonymously find out about a church. Having a high quality, well designed web site can help you ministry to be in the position to be seen. In addition to the web sites I feel that it is important for business and ministries to have a logo that people can identify them with. How many of us can see the "golden arches" or the Nike' swoosh and not know who they are. The same is true for ministries. In Houston you can see the white dove in the globe and most everyone knows that it is Lakewood Church. Logo's help you to be known without words. Our logo design will do just that. It is important for you to keep a consistent presence in your ministry. If you can tie in your logo, web site, and stationery you can do just that. Web Design has been a dream of mine for many years. I began doing web
design at Compaq Computer Corp. when the internet was in it's infancy.
I enjoyed it a lot and always dreamed of having my own business.
